Wedding Wednesday: The Dress Inspiration

Clockwise from top left: Marchesa bolero; unknown vintage design; Zuhair Murad beaded intricacy; pearl shoulder epaulette; Elie Saab short and long white dresses; unknown lace design with pearl necklace; tulle and lace sleeves inspired by Ivanka Trump; peonies with bling in the center and cut stems.

As a bride-to-be not too long ago, I know the pressure a new bride feels when it comes to choosing the dress of her dreams. I was you. I went back and forth on mod versus traditional; tulle versus lace; strapless versus sleeves Duchess Kate-style. Factor in your mother’s opinion, what you think your groom will want, and your own personal wedding gown desires and you have one serious decision on your hands.

Just remember this: this is your day, dress, and decision. Make it yourself. Go with your gut and leave the rest out of the picture.

Now, gaze upon the wedding dress board I have created above and draw inspiration from all the gorgeous designs, lovely silhouettes, and delicate intricacies. Happy Wedding Wednesday!

  1. I love them all! That’s the best and worst part about being married – the decisions are already made but there’s so many gorgeous things still out there.
